The Walking Dead: 7 Reasons We're Not Ready For THAT CHARACTER To Be Dead

Too soon.

Glenn has become the new Voldemort of the internet. Fans are either refusing to say his name directly or he is referred to as You-Know-Who. Is this a sign of respect for the recently deceased Glenn, or is it an attempt to not reveal spoilers? Either way, the entire world has been shocked at the news of his death and people who don't even watch the show have been informed of his demise. Of course, fans are speculating as to whether he really is dead. After all, that could have been Nicholas' body on top of his and therefore those were Nicholas' guts that you saw the walkers tear apart. Were Glenn's eyes simply screaming 'is this really happening?" as opposed to "is this really happening to me?" He was also alive for a lot longer than he should have been if those were his guts being torn apart. He was looking down at his innards being eaten for a lot longer than is probably possible to stay alive for, right? Only time will tell if Glenn really is dead, but there are a few reasons as to why we're not ready to lose him just yet.

7. Who Is Going To Love Maggie?

Glenn and Maggie, a match made in Heaven, or Hell. Despite fighting for survival, these kids fell in love and their relationship became a symbol of hope for the other characters. In a world full of death and despair, their love blossomed and flourished into a stable and mature relationship, in a place where nothing should be able to grow. It's really unfair that Maggie now has to lose Glenn after she's already lost everyone else. Will this be the final straw for Maggie or will Glenn's death reveal why she really stayed in Alexandria instead of following him to fight? A surprise pregnancy perhaps? Of course this is all speculation, but if it turns out that Glenn is dead and that Maggie is pregnant, those are going to be some pretty dark days for everyone's favourite farm girl. Watching Glenn and Maggie together was definitely one of the highlights of the show.
