Enid was introduced as another teenager on the scene, giving Carl the opportunity to bond with someone outside of the main group.

Enid was strong, capable, but unsure about how to proceed in the world as an orphan with no real attachments. Watching another young character on the show was great to see, and watching Enid go from small supporting act to an invaluable member of the communities and close friend with Glenn, Maggie and Sasha was a joy to watch.

That said, she spends most of her time playing second fiddle to other people in the show, and never gets the chance to shed her wings and take centre stage.
