The Walking Dead: Predicting The Casualties Of The Season 10 Finale

Alden has come a long way since his season eight introduction. First appearing as a Saviour and then integrating himself to life as a resident and fighter for Hilltop, he has become a key leader of the colony since the beginning of season ten and one of the Survivors' most loyal fighters.

According to the new trailer, he is still stuck in the woods with Aaron, surrounded by Whisperers. Although the trailer shows the pair fighting their way through their opponents, it also shows them come face to face with a new masked fighter. This is most likely a member of the Commonwealth, but fans won't know until the episode airs.

Outside of the close-call ambush, Alden being a key figure in Hilltop instantly makes him a target for the writers, who seem to have a thing for killing off leaders of that particular colony - from Gregory, to Jesus, to Tara, and his late girlfriend Enid.

If this trend continues, Alden could be next, striking a blow to the rest of the Coalition.
