During the early 2010s, you couldn't breathe without finding a movie, game or TV show featuring the brain-eating creatures. While this craze did feel like a slight frenzy, it eventually simmered down and nowadays viewers are only treated to the iconic villains here and there. However, one series from that period that remains today is AMC's overwhelming popular The Walking Dead.

This TV show, based on the comic book of the same name, is an action-packed spectacle that fills the world with walking corpses, but pads out its runtime with compelling human drama that keeps it fresh and exciting, despite all the rotting flesh.

Although the people in the world of TWD are predominantly deceased, there's still a never-ending supply of interesting and fun characters who populate the series. After running for so long, ten seasons to be exact, there's bound to be a plethora of roles who made an impression.
