The Walking Dead: Ranking The Likelihood Of Who Died In The Season 6 Finale

Michonne is the level of character they should be aiming to kill off with this death, a major player whose demise would be a big shock and have a subsequent impact on the show. 

That doesn't mean it should actually be Michonne though, nor that it will be. Far from it, in fact. 

Michonne at times has often felt a little bit of a let down, based on her katana-wielding arrival in the Season 2 finale. In that regard she hasn't lived up to the expectation of being this incredibly badass character. On the other hand, she's become a much more fleshed out one, who brings more than just her signature weapon, and recently has become more of a leader among the group and has close relationships with Rick and Carl. And to be fair, she's still pretty badass. 

Who knows, maybe she'll get killed as punishment for taking Morgan's last peanut butter bar. But given that she should have a big role to play going forwards, with Rick and in the fight against Negan, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to kill her off now. Obviously sense doesn't always apply to The Walking Dead, but in this situation we can assume that they've seen it.
