3. Allowing The Whole Woodbury Lot Into The Prison
Perhaps I'm a misanthrope, but I thought Rick's decision to let in all the Woodbury survivors was probably a bad idea. Of course, I could turn out to be wrong, and the season four trailer suggests that over the months passed Rick and his newly enlarged cohort have made a pretty decent fist of making the prison community work. But still, Carl did have a point when he glowered at his father letting in a large crowd is going to invite some bad apples. Frankly, it baffles me why Rick didn't screen them better, rather than allow everyone in. I'm aware the whole security checking might've been inadequate too, but just asking around could've possibly told you who was likely to upset the applecart (must stop with the apple metaphors). After all, though the Governor was undoubtedly nuts by the end, you can't guarantee that all past loyalties from his old community are gone. To use the internet's favourite analogy, it's like Hitler just because he's gone and his awfulness is a universal truth, there's still people who are loyal to him. So just because the Governor gunned down most of his own fighting men, it doesn't mean that there's still some nutters among the group, and it appears from the trailer that they're disrupting prison life from the inside. As it is, Rick's given him a headache which could've possibly been avoided.
