Check out the latest promo pics from the second season of The Walking Dead, courtesy of Just Jared.The Walking Dead returns October 16th on AMC. The second season will comprise of thirteen episodes with the first being a feature length 90 minutes. The first episode was also one of the last to be overseen by show creator Frank Darabont before he was fired. Glen Mazzara has taken over as showrunner and will oversee the rest of the season. The season will be split in two with the first six episodes airing in October and November and the second half returning in February. The show tells the story of a group of people trying to survivor in a post apocalyptic world over run with zombies. The second season picks up right where we left off with the characters fleeing the Centre for Disease Control.
