The Walking Dead Season 3: 11 Iconic Comic Moments We Most Likely Won't See

4. The Governor Rapes Michonne

Rick, Glenn, and Michonne entered Woodbury. The Governor reveals his true nature and captures all of them. He cuts Rick's hand off, beats Glenn, and rapes Michonne. Glenn is forced to hear Michonne's screams while the Governor taunts them both. Why We Won't See It: Rape is a very personal subject. You cannot show rape on national television. You can only imply it or use it in story form. How We Could See It: It was teased when the Governor had Maggie in his grasp. AMC didn't pull the trigger though because of the rules.

3. The Governor Mutilated

After the Governor is finished with Michonne, Michonne finds a way to escape with the help of some friends. Before they leave Woodbury, she makes one last stop. She fights the Governor and defeats him, then proceeds to chop off his body parts with her sword. She nails his private part to a board, drills a hole in his shoulder, pulls his fingernails off, cuts his arm off, shoves a spoon somewhere, and finally digs his eyeball out with a spoon. Why We Won't See It: Isn't it obvious? That infamous scene is like a snuff film. Not even HBO would go through with that scene. How We Could See It: The only part of this would be the Governor getting his eye cut out. It would probably be by her sword to give him that classic Governor look.
