8. Was Glenn Bitten?

Okay, so this one will be cleared up pretty quickly I'm sure, but it's still not a forgone conclusion that Glenn is safe. Nicholas was on top of Glenn during their woodland struggle, and as the walkers approached, Nicholas fled, leaving the undead to pile on top of Glenn. And that's all we see. The next time Glenn shows up, he's bloodied, and beating Nicholas halfway to death, but stops before landing a fatal blow, as their story closes for the season with him hauling the cowardly Nicholas back to Alexandria. But why didn't we see Glenn's escape from the clutches of the walkers? Maybe that's looking too deep, but imagine Glenn returning to the safe-zone with a chunk missing? It would be heart-breaking, but what an opener it could provide.
