The Walking Dead Season 5 Finale: 10 Things That Should Happen

1. Season Six Should Be Outlined

The Walking Dead is a great show, but one that - like the characters - has suffered from a lack of direction at times. The show could be accused of too many filler episodes, and the slow-paced drawn out journey to Terminus became tedious. Breaking into the city provided a much-needed change of scenery as opposed to yet more greenery and woodland wanderings, so it would be nice to see the group remain in the leafy neighbourhoods of Alexandria and defend it as their own rather than straying away from the potential sanctuary. Noah's old group suffered at the hands of what appeared to be a rival clan, who are likely to be making a move for Alexandria. Rather than leaving the whole situation up-in-the-air, the show should at least mark some battle lines amid the inevitable chaos to give the next season a rough path, though in The Walking Dead world, nothing is ever that straight-forward.
