5. David's 'Crushed And Eaten' Death

Oh David, we hardly knew ye, and yet his death still made everyone wince. As far as deaths go, he got a raw deal. The walkers clearly knew that Michonne was a more important character so they opted to haul David down from the metal fence they were clambering over. The poor guy was inches away from safety, but could only watch the group on the other side of the fence, as the walkers crushed him against the metal while tearing chunks out of his back. It was a savage death for a character we barely got to know. And to make matters worse, Glenn discovered his corpse later on with his eyeball stuck to the metal and stretching as he pulled.
