The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Questions We’re Asking After ‘East'

8. How Significant Will 'That Guy Who Escaped' Be?

Carol did an excellent job of dispatching the Saviours she encountered on the road, but there was an escapee she failed to properly deal with. He's wounded, but he's certainly not dead, and he's certainly not in the mood to kiss and make up. That guy is out for blood.

The Saviour vanished into the woods but re-emerged once Rick and Morgan had passed by, he's heading in the same direction as Carol's trail, and surely there's got to be some significance to why he's still alive?

Unlike other Saviours who have encountered Carol, he's still alive. He can see straight through Carol's faux-fear and he could easily report that back to the top members of the group so that they're not as easily fooled by her. He's got the crucifix too, significant?
