The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Questions We’re Asking After ‘Heads Up'

7. Why Did The Walkers Simply Walk Away From Glenn?

The walkers ate Nicholas' body on top of Glenn's. I can handle it. Glenn shrugged Nicholas' body off without the walkers going in for a bite. Hmm, okay then. He shuffled beneath a bin where none of the surrounding walkers could reach him. Not convinced. The remaining hordes and hordes of walkers simply get bored and walk away, giving Glenn a free escape. No, just no. No, no, no. It seems that to revive Glenn's character, the show had to sacrifice the laws it has set itself. Walkers are attracted to sound and the only noise was being made next to the bin under which Glenn was hiding. Also, if walkers simply 'got bored' and turned their attention elsewhere after one day, then surely that means the walkers at the Alexandria walls should do the same. Walkers are relentless, but here they were maimed to dig the writers out of a hole. I'm glad Glenn's back, but I'm certainly not a fan of bending the rules to make sure he could return.
