2. Blood... Or Fuel?

This is a slightly left-field suggestion, but was that definitely blood dribbling down the fence? We've seen how the zombies can plough against hard surfaces to the point of bursting open and bleeding out, but is that definitely what's going on here? There's no movement from the wall, when usually a crush would cause it to bend or bulge. It was strengthened, but that still shouldn't mean a total lack of movement. And there's not a huge amount of noise coming from that section. Maybe I'm looking far, far too deeply at the situation, but that liquid looked dark. Could we even be looking at fuel of some description poured in by the wolves for a second attack? Probably not, but it's not out of the realms of possibility.
