8. Why Are Ron And Spencer A) Given Air Time, B) Breathing?

A. I don't know. B. I don't know. Ron and Spencer have been in Alexandria since we were first introduced to the place, yet it's only now that they're being given any sort of significant screen time and I can't figure out why. My hope is that The Walking Dead is building them up for a fall; acquainting the audience with the characters before killing them. However, I've just got this horrible feeling that one or both of them will end up doing something stupid that will put everyone's lives at risk. Ron was asking Rick how to shoot a gun, Spencer was stealing food and booze from the supply room. Add it all together and you've got a moody teen with a gun and missing 'girlfriend', then a drunken coward inadvertently starving the rest of Alexandria. It can't end well, but what is will their defining moments be?
