The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 7 Got Right

9. Nobody Died

It has been an odd season of The Walking Dead as there have barely been any deaths to speak about. Carter was tipped to be a main character but was quickly dispatched by walkers (and mercy-killed by Rick), while the cowardly Nicholas shot himself and almost hauled Glenn into being a corpse too. Other than that, we have a pile of dead Alexandrians, but none of our 'main' characters have taken a hit. You could take that fact ether way. You could either say The Walking Dead has become predictable and scared to be bold, or you could say it has matured as a show to the point where it can entertain without needing to lazily kill a big hitter. While I do think several of the fringe characters could've been taken care of by the Wolves earlier in the season, keeping everyone alive in slower episodes like this one proves that Alexandria can be a safe place, and civilisation is possible.
