The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things That Must Improve
7. Build (Rather Than Demolish)
We watch TV for entertainment, not to feel worse than when we started the episode. Character deaths aren't the end of the world, but when the entire show builds up to enormous moments then falls flat, it just isn't satisfying to watch. The cycle of finding safety then losing it has grown stale, and Alexandria looks like it's on the verge of collapsing too. Just once it would be amazing to see the group fortify, build and grow a long-lasting 'base' where they can live, even though there will be enormous challenges left to face. The show needs to build on its good aspects, as opposed to demolishing and starting afresh every few episodes.
