It's always nice to hear about the outside world. I want to know more about how the whole country went into total meltdown and whether there are any surviving authorities who stand a chance of ridding the world of walkers. A reference to Washington D.C.'s protocol came as a passing comment, but it was fascinating to hear. Government officials and congressmen were indeed escorted out of the city first, so while it's unlikely we'll ever find out, is there a slim, slim, slim chance that some form of active government is working on a plan to clear and rebuild? It would make for a stunning turn of events when the series draws to a close.
