The Walking Dead Season 6: 7 Things You Might Have Missed In Episode 14

1. The Death Swap

It's great to see The Walking Dead drawing plenty of inspiration from the comic books that made the series possible in the first place, but it's also nice to see that the directors are adding their own spin on the TV series. It's not even difficult to achieve in a show where the characters can act very differently to their comic book counterparts.

Some productions based on source material are bound to every letter, but in a show like The Walking Dead where deaths are frequent, bloody, and don't tend to have world-changing consequences, swapping deaths around makes sense to keep the audience on its toes.

Denise took an arrow to the back of the head from Dwight, right through the eye, and managed to stumble another couple of words out. This is exactly how the death plays out in the comic book but with one notable difference... The victim. This is how Abraham dies in the comic books, but he's obviously impressed enough to warrant keeping him around.
