10. Jessie€™s A Goner

Whilst not as predictable as Sam biting the bullet, there were still a few people who€™d called the death of Jessie in this mid-season premiere. And those people were proved right, with her being another casualty of the stroll through the undead-filled streets of Alexandria. So impactful was Jessie€™s demise, though, it actually brought a tear to the eye of Rick Grimes. Seriously, that€™s a massive WTF moment in and of itself. Getting that sort of emotion from Rick is the equivalent of having a high five from the ever-dour Grim Reaper €“ it simply doesn€™t happen. As we got flashbacks of Jessie in a far happier place €“ as in one that doesn€™t involve walkers chewing on her insides €“ Rick has to step out of his own funk and lop off her hand so that Carl can get free. Phew, it€™s a good job that Carl€™s now safe from harm€
