The Walking Dead Season 6: 7 Things You Might Have Missed In Episode 9

Negan's weapon of choice gets a first mention.

Isn't it great being able to scour your favourite TV shows frame-by-frame? No longer will microscopic details allude eagle-eyed viewers, and with the magical 'pause' ability, audiences can analyse every second for clues. The Walking Dead is no exception with some fantastic hidden moments and easter eggs that hark back to classic zombie thrillers and foreshadow imminent doom. Carl's comic books for example, based on 'wolves' and the cherokee rose sprouting from a walker, the same flower Daryl gave to Carol earlier in the show. Some details are huge, some are minor, but they're all very cool despite the fact that you may only notice or remember them after a second viewing. Negan's Every week we'll be rounding up everything you may have missed in The Walking Dead, starting with the mid-season premiere.

7. Not The Same Beginning

It's not a case of what we missed, but it's what The Walking Dead creators missed. Season 6A ended with the group carefully edging through the walkers with the grand cliffhanger coming in the form of Sam beginning his feeble cries for Jessie. However, when we first cut to seeing Alexandria in the mid-season premiere, the events seem to completely omit that moment. Sam doesn't openly call out to his mother, nobody is silencing him, everything's just going along smoothly. Of course we all know how events transpired, but the beginning was mysteriously disconnected to the end of the first half.
