The Walking Dead Season 6: 9 Characters To Keep An Eye On

2. Rick

Rick has changed a lot from his €œwe don€™t kill the living€ days, even stating that he wanted to kill Carter simply because he doesn€™t belong in this world. Sure, Rick has been out there since just a while after the outbreak, but wanting to kill a man just because he had differing opinions is far from what Season 1 Rick would do. Carter was threatening to overthrow him, and kill Eugene, but it didn't even feel like that was why Rick was mad. The world has changed Rick, and even though they seem well enough off right now than they were when The Governor was giving them trouble three seasons ago, Rick is less optimistic now than he was when they were outnumbered and outgunned by Woodbury. He has since come to blows with despicable individuals such as Joe, the Claimers and the Termites, but he still has his son, his daughter, his friends and a secure(-ish) place to live. Still, Rick has his opinions on how to keep a society in check, compared to previous experiences, and he€™s going to stick to them whether his fellow survivors like it or not. As we await the arrival of The Wolves, it looks like Rick€™s own morality could be the antagonist towards the start of this season. He€™s close to becoming a polarising dictator in Alexandria, and as previously mentioned, even his closest friends like Daryl are doubting him, questioning some of his decisions. Rick is set on helping himself, and his own group, rather than worrying about the human race as a whole, and it€™s a huge contrast to how he saw things not too long ago.
