The Walking Dead: Season 6 Comic-Con Trailer Breakdown
15. Rick And Daryl In Conflict
One of the most intriguing moments from the first half of the trailer is, in actuality, a rather small one, especially when compared to the zombie action we've seen up until that point. We hear Rick saying: "These people, they gotta take care of themselves," before asking Daryl: "Feel different about it?" "Yeah, I do." Daryl's curt response immediately sets the two biggest characters on the show on very different sides, with clearly differing ideas about what they need to do for the people of Alexandria. It seems as though Rick wants to let them fend for themselves, it's a dog-eat-dog world, whereas Daryl appears to be more the voice of reason, which is a sign of how far gone Rick may be at this point. The two have been built up to be the lead characters and are among the most popular - especially Daryl - so to have the two of them facing off would be a pretty big moment for the show.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
