12. Know Your Way

Morgan, zombie-mercy-killer and philosopher, gives Deana what seems to be a much-needed pep talk (living in a post-apocalyptic world can get you down) about knowing her way in the world, which at least brings a slight smile and moment of hope to her face. Her and Morgan are very much on the same side at this point, and that bond would be interesting in terms of the power stakes in Alexandria. Of course, any uplifting message must immediately be brought crashing back down to earth, and that is the case here as we see a huge amount of walkers (probably the same ones from a couple of scenes ago) converging on the town. A slightly off-topic note regarding the balloons in this picture: at Comic-Con, Norman Reedus stated that the red balloon was his favourite emoji. Because you needed to know that. We also get a shot of Morgan looking ready for action, and seeing him kicking-ass is always a good thing.
