Seeing Negan’s choice of victim finally
revealed to be Abraham was a WTF in and off itself, with the moment that
he laid Lucille into Ford’s skull something that will go down as one of the most
memorable in The Walking Dead’s history. But this no-good leather-clad bastard
wasn’t simply going for a one-and-done approach when it came to swinging his
trusty weapon.
Instead, pushing home the point of how much
of a wrong ‘un Negan is, we saw him take another swing into Abraham’s skull.
And another. And another. And another. And another. And an… you get the idea.
Not content with simply killing this master
of the handlebar, Negan got to showcase just how despicable and
outright evil he is as he completely obliterated the head of Ford to the point
that his skull was simply an unrecognizable mush.
If there was ever any doubt over just how
brutal The Walking Dead was going to make this fan favourite comic book
character, all concerns were firmly allayed here.
