The Walking Dead Season 7 Finale: 9 Big Questions We Need Answers To

5. Could Eugene Betray Negan?

We gained a little bit more insight into Eugene's frame-of-mind this week, which is clearly quite conflicted. He knows he's cowardly, and admits that he's essentially backed the strongest horse in this deadly race.

It adds some extra depth to the character, but it leaves things unclear as to how it's all going to play out once the bullets (and axes and bats etc) do start flying.

It's one thing to be working for Negan right now, but how will Eugene feel when he's once again killing those closest to him? Will he still be too scared to do anything, or could he have a moment of courage and stand against him? Obviously the latter would almost certainly lead to his death, but it may also be the more interesting character decision too.
