2. Character Development

One of the time-jumps most attractive qualities is the character development it has brought with it. As previously mentioned, certain individuals have evolved a lot since we last seen them. Eugene for one, who is no longer the scaredy-cat that he once was. Now, he is taking on walkers left, right and centre without showing any signs of hesitation or fear.

Carol, in particular, has grown greatly, putting the life of her adopted son Henry above her need for revenge, which highlights how far she's come not only in the gap between the last two episodes, but as a character over-all. Moreover, she's also married Ezekiel - something that she wasn't too particularly keen on during the previous episodes of Season 9. Additionally, Carol and The King have become parents to Henry, which also shows development for both characters.
