2. Certain Characters Are Still Underused

While the show has made vast improvements in terms of delegating time to all of its central characters, there are still a few that are under-utilised. Jesus, for example, has so much potential, and actor Tom Payne is great in the role, but he hasn't been given a lot to do. Considering his fighting and martial arts skills, one would think that Jesus would be the perfect character to further develop given the post-apocalyptic setting, and yet he has barely featured during the past few seasons.

Perhaps its a premature judgment, but Jesus has very little screen time and even less dialogue in the premiere episode, which is odd considering Payne's name now features in the title sequence. Let's hope that the one silver lining in Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan's departures will be that under-appreciated characters are granted more screen time moving forward.
