6. Tammy Rose

While Tammy Rose was only introduced this season, alongside her partner Earl, she has managed to make a big emotional impact on the show. In A New Beginning, we watch them have to learn that their son, Kenneth, has been killed, which they both react badly too (with Earl later trying to kill Maggie).

She then witnesses Gregory die, and is present at Hilltop when Jesus' body is brought back. Basically, her entire time on the show has revolved around death and misery and more death, and yet Tammy has still managed to find a source of light in the darkness, leading to she and Earl rescuing a baby from the Whisperers and deciding to raise her as their own. That further hints at her demise though, with Alpha seen listening in as the pair decide what to call the baby while at The Fair. And, as with Frankie, it makes the death even more brutal, robbing another child of her mother.
