The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Review - 5 Ups & 5 Downs From "Become"

1. Up: It Sets Up A Thrilling Finale

Flaws and all, "Become" at least sets up one sure-fire thing: The Ones Who Live is going out with a bang. (If, that is, the show actually proves to be a miniseries and not the start of a multi-season show. I have my doubts.)

In her final moments, Jadis tells Rick and Michonne that all the information she has on them and their home is locked away back with the CRM, and if they want to secure their own safety, as well as the safety of their family and friends, they need to get that intel and keep it away from her superiors.

So, in what can only be called a Bold Move, even for these two, Rick and Michonne elect to go back to the place they just escaped from. But not only to save themselves - that would be too easy - they also want to incite a rebellion within the CRM, to bring the organisation inhumane practises to an end.

The Ones Who Live's finale, "The Last Time," may be running the risk of tying things up too fast and too neatly, but at least it's going to be an action-packed affair. Here's to hoping it doesn't drop the ball.
