The X-Files: 21 WTF Moments From Revival (So Far)

11. Google Is So 2012. We Use Finder-Spyder

Google them? That's not even a verb anymore. Now, you spyder them. A cross between Google and good old Webcrawler (anyone? anyone?), Finder Spyder is actually a fictional search engine that multiple television shows and films have used to save from having to deal with licensing issues relating to Google and other legit search engine companies. So while some fans thought this was cheesy (it is), there's plenty of precedent: Criminal Minds, Breaking Bad, Bones, Weeds, CSI, and Prison Break have all, at times, featured the fictional website. It's not unlike a certain brand of cigarettes, Marl... err, we mean Morley.
