Who wrote this message? Who was supposed to receive it? Was Scully truly the intended recipient? Was it written from the inside of the car (with someone taking the time to write it backwards)? What is it that they aren't supposed to give up on? Was it a message from an informant, or someone in peril? There are more questions than answers in regards to this shot, which comes on the heels of Scully stating that she has seen Mulder "like this before" and that he's "on fire" - no doubt burning with the need to continue his quest for the truth. Is this legit, or is someone stringing them along?
