Titans Season 2: 4 Ups & 2 Downs From ‘Conner’

1. Very Little Overall Narrative Progression

As solid as 'Conner' was, its conclusion risked leaving audiences feeling like the story hadn't progressed all that much. Sure, Superboy saved Jason and got shot by Kryptonite bullets, but the Titans are essentially in the exact same place that they were last week and, moreover, still in the same darn night that they've been in for weeks.

This might seem like a little thing, but given that we waited all week to see the follow-up to last week's jaw-dropping cliffhanger, it would have been nice to see more than 90 seconds set in the present. And now with the Titans running into Conner, it's likely that they'll have to shift gears in order to help him with his Cadmus problem.

But... but... but.... Deathstroke is still out there!

Now, for the positives...
