1. It Looks Like A Lot Of Fun

One of the biggest criticisms of Titans' first season stemmed from the fact of just how moody it was. We get that it's primarily a crime-based show but almost every single character had such a grim outlook on the world, and the one that didn't (Gar) was sorely underused. And considering the whole point of the Teen Titans was to give fans a youthful perspective of crime-fighting, it missed the point entirely.

Well, after watching the first trailer for Season 2, it's safe to say that the showrunners have rectified that.

With a strong emphasis on teamwork, a clear focus on action and some of the most epic music you'll hear all year, the teaser presents the second season as a more enjoyable and colourful comic book property - one that prioritises the adventures or superheroism over the moody and broody angst last season was full of. And yes, believe it or not, there are actually some jokes in there too. Crazy, right?!

Titans 2.0? Titans: Next Generation? Call it what you will, but one thing is for sure: This is the Titans we've been waiting for.
