5. Will Alcide Make A Good Pack Master?
That brings us to every female fans favorite ripped dude. Alcide Herveaux has managed to achieve something other mainstream sci-fi franchises have not been able to do (cough cough twilight) by making werewolves seem totally bad ass as opposed to just looking like big cuddly teddy bears. After getting jerked around by Sookie (who hasn't that girl hooked up with...facepalm) and then committing himself to a crackwhore in the form of Debbie Pelt, Alcide finally seems to be on the right track. Alcide is a character that has always had serious potential for a great storyline but making him Sookie's lapdog season after season did nothing but hurt his street cred. Season 5 did right by Alcide when he managed to find the courage inside himself and finally claim his rightful place as packmaster. He also got a smokin hot girlfriend to boot. It will be interesting to see what kind of leader Alcide will become and if he will crack under the pressure of being packmaster. Alcide has won the battle but the war for respect among his pack begins now. It seems that Alcide should have no problem leading his pack to prosperity but as we know this is True Blood and nothing ever goes smooth. The question remains will Alcide make a good pack master?
