Twin Peaks Quiz: Have We Tricked You, F*cker?

Fire, Quiz With Me!

Twin Peaks The Return Laura Palmer
Showtime

If you like Twin Peaks, there is every chance you love Twin Peaks.

The hazy, dreamlike aesthetic; the haunting soundtrack so beautiful you wouldn’t mind feeling unsettled for 25 years; the endless tendrils of mystery to investigate: the town, and the show, invite a certain longing as deep as its dark woods.

Those who like it love it.

According to one prevalent theory explaining 2017’s The Return, FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper loved the town so much that he concocted its romantic, labyrinthine plot as a wonderful and strange safe space from which to disassociate himself of the guilt of murdering Laura Palmer (!).

Accordingly, if you’ve clicked here, you probably know that the pilot was originally entitled ‘Northwest Passage’, that BOB was created in a flash of unpremeditated inspiration, that Lara Flynn Boyle put paid to the blossoming romantic plot between Cooper and Audrey Horne, that Josie Packard was to be an Italian character played by Isabella Rossellini…

This is a quiz designed to leave you as dumbfounded as Cooper was, outside of the Palmer house, in an indeterminate year. Have you been paid attention to the Complete Mystery? The official version, the unofficial version, its (quite incredible) impact on pop culture?

Unlike Twin Peaks: The Return, you will find the answers at the end…

1. Lead Actor Kyle MacLachlan DOESN’T Share Dale Cooper’s Love Of Which Foodstuff?
