9. Does Eugene Really Know What Started It?

When fans first encounter Eugene in Season 4, Abraham introduces him as a scientist that knows what is going on and that he could save the human race. Other than knowing how to sport a stylish mullet, Eugene doesn't come across as someone that knows much about anything else. We quickly realise that he isn't much of a survivalist either as he's proven to be the worst shot on the show to date. Even when asked about what he knows by Glenn, he's quick to state that his knowledge is classified. Fans that follow the comic book adaptation of the Walking Dead most likely know the answer to this question but for the sake of remaining spoiler-free and assuming that the show could take a different direction, we'll keep the question alive as to whether or not Eugene does in fact have answers. That being said, if I were to make an assumption about Eugene I would say that there's more than meets the eye with him as he comes across as more of a con man to me than a government scientist. Eugene is going to be the catalyst to a lot of drama on the show and I hope that the writers and producers due an excellent job at fleshing out his character.
