The Walking Dead is great at delivering shocking endings, and after a relatively dull episode, the jolt felt at the sudden ending was out of nowhere. When Carol fled the building, she ventured into the street and was violently hit by a car driven by men from the hospital, It was open to interpretation on whether or not they intended to hit her, but they immediately exit the car and start strapping her down to a gurney. Was it intentional? For a hospital that makes a practice of seeking out injured people, treating them and then forcing them into indentured servitude, it's awfully convenient the way it all went down. Noah prevents Daryl from rushing to he aid because for some reason if he does, they won't actually help her. So he watches them load into the vehicle with a look of anguish on his face. Noah warns him that they have guns and people, to which he replies "So do we." Hopefully this leads to Daryl gathering up the troops (including a returning Abraham and crew) and storming the hospital to take back Carol and Beth. Butt with only two episodes left in 2014, the odds are we'll be left hanging with some kind of cliffhanger before the return of the second half of the season. What did you think of Consumed?
