The Walking Dead Season 5: 10 Things That Need To Happen
4. Cannibals
One of the major flesh eating threats in The Walking Dead season five might not even be from the walkers themselves. Whilst the main characters have to be careful of the zombie masses that are constantly looking to feast upon their brains, they'll have just as difficult a time with their fellow, non-undead humans - at least, if Terminus turns out the way everybody is expecting it to. There's every chance that the TV show will diverge from the source material as it has so many times in the past, but boy would that be disappointing. And ignoring some of the subtle hints the show made about what was coming up in that season four finale. Yep, the Terminus lot are cannibals. That's how they're managing to survive so long into this post-apocalypse which saw food supplies fall (for people, anyway; they're still pretty high for the zombies). Terminus itself doesn't exist in the comics, but it has a remarkable similarity to a location introduced in the eleventh volume of the collected graphic novels: the home of The Hunters, a group of survivors Rick and the group stumble across after leaving the prison and heading from Washington DC from Atlanta. The group of survivors started to eat other people when food became scarce...starting with their own kids. They realised they quite liked the taste, and so began expanding their horizons. Watch out Carl!
