WandaVision: 10 Things You Need To Know About The Disney+ TV Series
3. A Halloween Setting
The Marvel Studios movies have never really been seasonal, though Iron Man 3 was kinda, sorta set during the Christmas period. WandaVision, on the other hand, clearly takes place at least partially over Halloween, hence why the heroes are wearing those colourful comic book costumes.
However, The Vision - who has the same appearance he did before being killed by Thanos - can be seen flying above his neighbourhood with Halloween decorations and trick-or-treaters beneath him.
The significance of this holiday period remains to be seen, but if Agatha Harkness and her coven really are the true villains of WandaVision, then it could be that Marvel Studios is about to finally deliver a story that borrows some elements from the horror genre. If Agatha is a legitimate witch, though, does she want the Scarlet Witch to join them or is she just keen to take advantage of her powers?
That remains to be seen, but it'll be fun seeing a Marvel TV series embrace a different kind of setting.
