Wanda Maximoff has proven herself to be one of the two most powerful Avengers throughout her time in the MCU, if not the first, with Agatha suggesting that her powers can stretch even further than she has already shown.

Yet in Westview, she was rendered utterly helpless by Agatha Harkness. The witch outsmarted Wanda, lured her into a trap in which she couldn't use her own powers, and by the end of the episode had Tommy and Billy well and truly in her grasp. Clearly Agatha is incredibly powerful, but exactly how powerful is she?

During her witch trial back in 1693, she was able to overpower the rest of her coven at the same time, but there was something different about her power. While Wanda's power has always been red, and Agatha's sisters' was blue, Agatha herself was able to fight back with purple magic, potentially suggesting a different source.

She herself even looked surprised when her magic started overpowering that of the rest of the coven, so could it be that this was the dark magic she was being punished for finally coming through? In Doctor Strange, the Ancient One drew her power from the Dark Dimension, so it could be possible that Agatha is doing a similar thing with the help of her creepy book believed to be either the Darkhold or the Necronomicon.
