4. Will The Show Operate On Just One Timeline In Season 2?

That Westworld (the show) was operating on multiple timelines was theorised from a pretty early stage - going hand-in-hand with the 'William = MIB' theory - and, like its partner, was eventually confirmed late in the season.

Now, though, the show has mostly converged all of its storylines and timelines. We've seen how the past became the present, so presumably there isn't any more story to be told about that.

Does that mean the show will operate with just one timeline in Season 2 and beyond? It's a big structural change, but there doesn't appear to be any reason to continue splitting it.
