Westworld Season 2: 12 Biggest Questions We Need Answers To
3. Is Elsie Truly Dead?
Maybe this one is clutching at straws, but the fact that we never actually saw Elsie die or her body be disposed of, or any other indicator that she was 100% dead leaves room for one to ponder on her fate.
Elsie was a character who had no ulterior motive, and even asked why everyone else seemed to have one. Her investigation into such things lead to her untimely [unconfirmed] demise, being jumped by...someone.
In a later episode, when Bernard is faced with the truth that he is a host, and Ford made him kill Theresa, he asks Ford if he has been made to do anything like that before, to which Ford denies. Concurrently, Bernard gets flashbacks to, you guessed it, him being that someone who jumped Elsie, even showing him choking her.
But the question remains; is she still alive? Yes, she most likely isn't, but we need to know for sure. If she is alive, it would be interesting to see when and how she comes back, and if her and Stubbs will reunite.
