What The BoJack Horseman Voice Actors Look Like In Real Life
14. Angela Bassett (Anita Spanakopita)
Angela Bassett has a hugely distinctive voice, and her deep, commanding tones work perfectly as Ana Spanikopita. She becomes BoJack’s fixer/agent, seeming to have everything under control, although most often she’s just reacting to circumstance.
For example, when BoJack decides he wants to star in Kelsey Janning’s indie movie, she says it’ll show the world “he’s not just a movie star, he’s an actor!”, but when he wants blockbuster Flight Of The Pegasus, he’ll show “he’s not just an actor, he’s a movie star!”
Though she seems in control of everything, when BoJack stalks her to her place he sees her alone, lonely and sad.
Away from BoJack, Bassett almost rivals Stanley Tucci for her amount of recognisable projects. A series regular in American Horror Story, you could also have seen her in Black Panther, Mission: Impossible - Fallout, Boyz N The Hood or Olympus Has Fallen. You could also know her from Eddie Murphy’s Vampire In Brooklyn, also maybe keep that to yourself.
