What The Futurama Voice Actors Look Like In Real Life

Futurama Cast - The Faces Behind The Famous Voices.

Recent years have seen the creation of more animated shows than ever before, with the likes of Big Mouth, Rick and Morty, and BoJack Horseman taking the genre to new heights. Futurama however, will always be a classic, after running on and off for 14 years.

Debuting way back in 1999, the show about a 20th century delivery boy being cryogenically frozen stepped out of the shadow of The Simpsons, and earned its own loyal fanbase with a fantastical futuristic setting, bizarre storylines afforded by being based in the year 3000, and some simply wonderful characters.

Futurama managed to bring in a truly excellent cast to portray these characters, including some of the best voice actors in the business. Some were able to bring a whole host of different beings to life, while some stuck to just the one, but regardless, there was no weak link to be found here.

But what do these incredibly talented people actually look like? Chances are you know far more of their work than just Futurama, but have never been able to put a face to the name. It's time for that to change...

12. Tom Kenny (Yancy Fry Jr.)

Tom Kenny has had a long, successful career in the world of voice acting, going far beyond Fry's older brother Yancy and shady businessman Abner Doubledeal in Futurama. Possibly set in the same universe as Matt Groening's futuristic show, Rick and Morty has also utilised Kenny's voice for the likes of Squanchy, Million Ants, and Pencilvester among others.

The actor also has a history in the superhero world, voicing animated versions of Commissioner Gordon, The Penguin, The Collector, and many more.

Fans of the Spyro the Dragon franchise may recognise his voice as the titular character of the legendary gaming franchise, but by far his biggest role is voicing everyone's favourite Bikini Bottom citizen, Spongebob Squarepants himself. For over 20 years he has brought the classic cartoon character to life, and doesn't look like he'll be stopping any time soon.
