What We Want To See From Castlevania Season 4
2. Is Alucard Turning Bad?
Alucard is obviously struggling with life in isolation now he has inherited his father's castle. Is he destined to go down the same road as his father? The way he displays the bodies of Taka and Sumi on spikes evokes the similar imagery seen in season one, when Dracula is at the height of his power. His experience with the Japanese vampire hunters has likely deepened Alucard's distrust of humanity - a trait that would give him a mutual feeling with Isaac, and should the pair ever meet again it would make for a potentially interesting partnership.
There is no guarantee that Alucard will turn into an antagonist, but that certainly seems to be what the end of season three is suggesting. If he does, he looks set to play a crucial role in the future of both humans and vampires, both of which form a crucial part of his identity.
