The X Factor: 5 Fun Alternatives To Big Band Week
This week, for the first time in four years, a dark shadow will be falling over the X Factor studios. No we don't mean the return of Simon Cowell and his awe-inspiringly flat hair the infamous "Big Band Week" has been resurrected. Let's face it, this hasn't been the most exciting series of The X Factor ever (despite fantastic erratic behaviour from Sharon Osbourne and fantastic big hair from Nicole Scherzinger), so perhaps devoting an entire night to a genre of music that the majority of the X Factor audience aren't old enough to remember and only a handful of people actually enjoy isn't the smartest idea the producers have ever had. We don't know about you, but listening to some hopeful murdering Fly Me To The Moon for the five hundredth time in reality TV history isn't our idea of a fun-packed Saturday evening, and that's before we even think about moving on to Moon River. So instead, we've come up with some alternatives to Big Band Week that might inject a bit of fun that's lacking in this year's series...
