Started back in 2003, Peep Show over the last decade has become one of the cornerstones of British comedy, becoming the longest-running Channel 4 series in the process. Focusing on David Mitchell's Mark and Robert Webb's Jez as two dysfunctional flatmates, the show has won over critics and gained a cult following, set apart from other series not just by Mitchell and Webb's writing and performances, but also the point-of-view shots used throughout the show, accompanied by their voiceovers. After 12 years, the duo announced that Series 9 would be the last, with the show coming to an end on December 16.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
