Mel was hired by the town mayor, who lured her with the promise of a job with an old doctor and a cozy cabin to live in. Living and working in Virgin River, Mel soon realised that not only was she unable to escape her past, but also that small-town living comes with more than its fair share of drama. Along with the beautiful views of rivers, breathtaking mountains, old houses and adorable small businesses, life in the Virgin River is difficult and sometimes dangerous.
