4. Another Time Jump

Much like Season 2 (Invasion), the upcoming third season of Young Justice will have its own subtitle. But it appears that's not all it has borrowed from its predecessor, as the trailer suggests that Outsiders will be taking another time jump.

The five-year gap between Season 1 and 2 allowed characters like Dick, Wally and Artemis to mature while it forced others like M'gann and Conner apart. It was hard to say goodbye to what the show was during its first season, but this paved the way for a number of interesting arcs — and another time jump is exactly what the show needs.

It's been eight years since Young Justice was on the air, and while we don't expect the show to jump that far into the future, any type of time jump will give it room to make its own impact -setting it apart from what came before. This space will allow the writers to craft new storylines (which could have started off-screen, during this gap of time) that will eventually force the young superheroes back together.
